Counselling for Adults in Halifax, Nova Scotia

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy and your life doesn’t have to be at a crisis level before seeing a therapist. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or just not feeling like yourself, talking to a counsellor might help. Many people reach out for therapy when they’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Our therapists offer a time and place just for you, where you can talk openly, slow things down, and begin to understand what you are experiencing.

We meet you where you are, with care and curiosity, and work at a pace that feels right for you.

Trauma Informed Mental Health Care

All of our therapists work from a trauma-informed approach. This means we understand that past experiences, especially difficult or painful ones, can continue to affect how you feel, think, and relate to others today.

Being trauma-informed also means we’ll do our very best to make sure you feel welcome, supported and respected in session. You are always in control of what you share and how therapy unfolds. We’ll work together to create a space where you can feel connected and cared for.
