Why Join Our Psychology Clinic?
We are a boutique sized organization where every voice matters. Our clinic is being founded around a sense of community and collaboration, and we are dedicated to a positive working environment.
At Rainbow Tree, you’ll have the opportunity to eat lunch with fellow therapists, collaborate on group projects, consult as colleagues on cases, and have a supportive place to continue to grow professionally and personally.
From a practical standpoint, you’ll have the use and access to a lovely, fully furnished office space to see clients, as well as a kitchen, restroom, and waiting area. We have an administrative assistant who will help with the paperwork side of your therapy practice, and we use Jane app, an all in one practice management system. We offer a fair contractor payment split and provide opportunities for continuing education.
We are always happy to accept new applications, especially those with the following qualifications and designations:
- Registered Psychologist (specifically those who offer assessments)
- Registered Counselling Therapist
- Registered Clinical Social Workers
We are especially interested in applicants that are able to see clients across all lifespans (from childhood to seniors).
All applicants must be able to work in our Halifax, Nova Scotia office at least twice a week.

- EMDR
- Attachment based therapy
- Play therapy
- Sand Tray Therapy
- Couples counselling
- IFS
- ACT
- Family therapy
