About Me
A quick introduction

Drama therapy for youth and adults
As a Creative Arts Therapist specializing in Drama Therapy as a method, a lot of my work focuses on bringing the internal struggles into the external environment and essentially playing with it for transformation, growth, and healing.
Drama therapy does not require any acting or performance skills, but uses theatrical techniques and methods to creatively embody and express struggles beyond traditional talk therapy methods.
In sessions, we may use small objects around the room, toys, stuffed animals, tarot cards, memes, pictures, masks or artwork to externalize your internal struggles and concerns.
We may also use metaphors, roleplay, embodied or somatic exercises, depending on your comfort level and what seems appropriate to playfully explore and express internal and relational dynamics.
Regardless of how we might play and explore, I am committed to taking therapy at your pace and comfort while building trust in the process.
Fun fact about me: I have a background in theatre arts as an actor, director, producer, stage manager, and playwright! These days however my passion is using the arts for healing.
